Welcome to the world of Extended Day!
Our Extended Day program provides opportunities for children to develop socially, emotionally, and physically, within a fun and exciting atmosphere. This is accomplished through our focus on leadership, academics, wellness, and S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math).
Programming enrichment opportunities include: the Discovery Science Center, 4H, Ocala Civic Theatre, The First Tee of Greater Ocala, University of Florida’s Entomology Outreach Program, and various programming activities such as wellness, sewing, science, arts, cooking projects, outdoor sports, and more. Snack and homework time are also provided.
The mission of the Marion County Public School’s Extended Day Program is to support our working parents by providing effective before and after school care programs and activities for our students in a safe and nurturing environment.
